Adventure Pack

Coco had one more day out with the pack today.  Milo and Benny were already used to having her back and were less animated today.  Benny and Oliver trotted at the back of the pack while Milo was busy wading in the stream alongside the trail.  Rucksack and Roger Roger both had fun running around with Coco, though.  Roger Roger started barking at Coco again today and she again kept running him off.  The three of them took turns chasing one another, although Rucksack played the part of the pursued more often than the other two.

Play Pack

Sadie spent most of the first half of her park visit playing with her yellow-coated Chihuahua friend, and then spent the second half playing with Scruffy.  Meanwhile, Sputnik and Coco watched me intently as I threw a tennis ball for Isaac.  Despite their obvious interest, they never tried to race Isaac for it because they both knew they couldn't beat him.  However, I threw some shorter bounces for the two of them and they were very happy to catch those.  Mamacita didn't chase her packmates as much today - only a couple times.  She found a pair of excited pups to chase after her, though, and had fun running them around the park.  Thompson hung out at the center of the park for most of our visit, where there was the greatest density of people from whom to get attention.  At one point, a Golden Retriever hopped up on the picnic table to be pet by a few people who were standing around it and then Thompson jumped up next to him, not to be outdone.  That's the first time I've seen Thompson get up on one of the picnic tables at the park.
