Adventure Pack
Roger Roger started off well on today's hike. He splashed through the stream and periodically checked back in with his packmates but didn't stir up any trouble...for a while. I kept Rucksack on the leash while Roger Roger was off so as to try not to tempt Roger Roger, since Rucksack is his favorite target for harrassment, and that plan was working out well. Then, Roger Roger and Benny got into some playful dodging and bumping with each other and before long Roger Roger just started barking and biting at Benny's legs while Benny looked back to me for help, so Roger Roger went back on the leash. Rucksack got very wound up seeing his brother misbehaving. Meanwhile, Oliver trotted happily along at the back of the group and Sputnik at my side. We stopped for occasional water breaks and everyone was happy to partake - even Oliver, who had been wary of drinking from the CamelBak spout lately.
Play Pack
Ruffers had fun diving after Sadie, who went on some sprints around the park. Isaac kept busy chasing tennis balls, digging in water bowls, and lying in the shallow areas of mud that resulted from his digging in water bowls. Mamacita had a great time wiggling around in the grass today. Milo was feeling too lazy for that and opted simply to lay down on his side. He and Thompson were good sports about following me in walks from one end of the park to the other but were quick to find shade each time we paused in any one spot.
