Adventure Pack

Milo spent much of today's hike wading through the stream and lingering behind the pack. Meanwhile, Benny followed right behind me on the trail. Rucksack ran back and forth between the stream with Milo and the trail with the rest of us, and his own exploration further up the trail. He found a stick early on that was stolen away by another dog we passed. The other dog didn't hold onto it for long at all and then Roger Roger snatched it up and carried it for most of the rest of the hike. Mamacita trotted along right at my side as usual.

Play Pack

Sadie was full of energy today and had Spuntik, Ruffers, and her friend Scruffy all going at the same time, chasing each of them off before heading for the next one and continuing to stir up the pot. In addition to helping to keep Sadie busy, Sputnik enjoyed chasing a chocolate Lab around for a while. He and Ruffers also played a bit of fetch side-by-side, each with their own ball. Surprisingly, Mamacita didn't join in for the fun with her young packmates. She must have been tired from the hike in the morning. Thompson, on the other hand, was more active than usual. He didn't run or hop around but he was up and on the move for most of our visit. Stella walked around with the pack for a while until eventually settling down in a shady spot to relax.
