Adventure Pack

Milo and Rucksack had a fun time running side-by-side through the stream by the trail today and dodging around with each other.  Roger Roger did a pretty good job of containing himself during the latter part of the hike after he found a stick to carry, which kept him occupied.  Benny lingered behind a few times to sniff around and then ran full-speed to catch up after looking up and realizing how far behind he was.  Mamacita was a bit spooked by a big German Shepherd we passed and then later by a Great Dane, aptly named Titan, and she barked when they came near her.  I was surprised to see Mamacita react that way to another dog; usually she reserves those kinds of greetings for joggers and bikers.

Play Pack

Sputnik was very interested in a young, unneutered Rhodesian Ridgeback and spent most of his time following him around and occasionally trying to mount him.  He totally backed off each time the Ridgeback spun around on him, but then it wasn't long before he was pawing at his back and thinking about trying to climb on him again.  They also just had some fun running together, along with another Ridgeback and a black Lab.  Sadie chased down some tennis balls and also had a wrestle with Sputnik today.  Mamacita, Benny, and Stella all took it easy today.  They followed me on a couple laps around the park but were quick to lie down whenever we stopped moving.  Of course, Stella did some wiggling in the grass as well.
