Toward the end of today's hike, Coco and Toskey had a play battle over a stick. Coco was the first to pick it up and Toskey went chasing after her for it. Coco turned around and they both froze for a second before Coco dropped the stick and launched herself into the air toward Toskey, as Toskey reared up on her hind legs to tackle Coco. After a moment of wrestling, Toskey found her way around Coco and was about to grab the stick from behind her, but Coco realized Toskey's plan and spun around to snatch it up before Toskey had a chance. Coco ran around with it a bit more to tease Toskey and then they had a few more standoffs like that. Toskey came out with the stick once!
At the park, Rucksack was all about his soccerball - it's been the same yellow one for a while now. He trots around with it and seems to be looking to get chased like he did by that black dog he met about a week and a half ago. Unfortunately, there haven't been any takers. Hershey and Coco wrestled around with each other a lot. Coco was less submissive today than previously, and I felt she was getting a little rough with Hershey, so I introduced a rope toy so they weren't so focused on one another. They had a great time playing tug-of-war together, even though the rope was bigger than Hershey!
