Adventure Pack
Thompson wandered far off across the field by the trailhead at South Campus at the beginning of today's hike. Thompson's wandering spirit seemed to inspire Milo, who also took a wide berth from the trail. As the hike went on, both of them gradually moved closer and closer to the group on the trail. Roger Roger was very interested in a stripped piece of bark that we came across, but had his fill of it in about 5 seconds and then left it behind. Rucksack left sticks alone today but was just as excited as his little brother to greet some dogs we passed early on in the hike. Mamacita was also happy to say hello, though she wasn't as insistent to her Labradoodle packmates. Milo headed over to see what was up as well; Thompson was too busy exploring to be bothered.
Play Pack
Benny, Sputnik, Mamacita, and Ruffers all had a blast darting and dodging each other in the snow. Isaac ran over every now and then to put his two cents in. He ran around with his tennis ball in his mouth, keeping tabs on everyone. Mamacita was the center of the action, with the others mostly focused on her. Later on, Sputnik enjoyed running around with a Great Dane and Ruffers had fun with another dog. All the while, Thompson mosied around the park without joing in for the play. Ruffers went for one last, big run with the Great Dane before we leashed up and headed back to the packmobile to towel off.
