Adventure Pack

Milo made friends with a young black Lab pup who was carrying a big stick along the trail.  Milo grabbed ahold of it and helped him carry it a bit before things turned into a tug-of-war, which he let the puppy win.  Benny didn't understand how skiing works and stood directly in the path of an oncoming cross-country skier, only stepping out of their way when the skis had already started to pass him.  Rucksack and Roger Roger greeted passing dogs enthusiastically.  Mamacita was a bit cranky today and grumbled at some of the dogs who approached us on the trails.

Play Pack

Sputnik saw an Australian Shepherd at the park named Sherman, with whom he previously had unpleasant words.  Sputnik did a better job of containing himself today, although Sherman ran around after him and pushed his buttons a bit, which drew a couple stern growls from Sputnik, who was busy playing fetch.  Sadie had fun with her friend Scruffy.  Stella did a lot of wiggling around in the snow today.  After a good wiggle, she would stand up, shake off, and then shoulder back down into the snow for some more.  Thompson wandered all over the park on his own today, spending less time among the humans than usual.  Benny loosely followed me around, coming over and leaning against me now and then to let me know he was in need of good pet.
