Adventure Pack

Roger Roger was very interested in Benny today and kept nibbling his chin as they walked side-by-side.  Benny seemed to appreciate the attention and was in a more energetic and bouncy mood than usual.  As we walked, Oliver took the lead at my right side while Rucksack and Sputnik practiced yielding the position to their little packmate instead of bowling over him to take the lead.  Toward the end of our walk, Sputnik got into a playful mood and leapt around with both Rucksack and Roger Roger.

Play Pack

Sadie joined in a big chase that started just after we arrived at the park.  She lagged behind the main pack but kept in it until the running stopped and the excitement fizzled.  Milo met a black German Shepherd mix who put him in a playful mood and he followed his new friend around for a while, making playful jumps and dodges to try to elicit a reaction.  The Shepherd wasn't quite as excited as Milo, though, and eventually Milo gave up trying to get more activity going.  Thompson sat at the feet of a girl who scratched his neck for a very long while, then eventually came and explored around the grassy area a bit.  Benny found a couple different dogs who interested him, but all he did was nibble at their backs and hump at the air while they ignored him and pretended he wasn't being strange.
