Adventure Pack

Today it was Oliver who received the ear-cleaning treatment from Rucksack.  Toward the end of our walk - which is usually when this particular mood strikes Rucksack - he started hovering over his little packmate and leaning down to lick around his ears.  Oliver didn't seem to mind, as his other packmates don't seem to mind either.  Meanwhile, Sputnik and Roger Roger, who have both had some on-and-off trouble behaving nicely toward passing dogs, were exemplars of calm, friendly behavior.  Benny took an especially leisurely pace today and occasionally needed a little prodding to keep up with his packmates.

Play Pack

Sadie was pretty talkative at the park today, barking in the direction of any action going on.  Milo chased down a tennis ball that I threw for him a few times but he couldn't muster up the energy to flaunt it around like he usually does.  Isaac, on the other hand, had plenty of energy to keep the fetch going for most of our visit.  A yellow Lab came over and stole the ball away from him a few times but there were plenty of other balls around so there wasn't much downtime before he grabbed up another and dropped it at my feet.  Thompson took it easy in the midst of his packmates and some other park regulars in the grassy area, where Benny also spent most of his time.
