Adventure Pack

Milo and Benny enjoyed wandering and exploring the trails together in the snow.  Sadie was pulling her way up the mountain at first but eventually settled into pace with me and the rest of the pack.  Roger Roger gave Milo and Benny eager greetings whenever they sidled up after going off exploring.

Play Pack

Sputnik got a lot of practice in social interaction today with a chocolate Lab who kept pushing his limits.  The Lab came over and was immediately wiggling, licking, and throwing himself in Sputnik's face.  They had a bit of tension at first and Sputnik knocked him down, but then the Lab started to respect Sputnik's personal space more and the two of them ended up running around and wrestling playfully.  Sputnik eventually started to get over-enthusiastic and pushy himself, so I interrupted his play and brought him to another area to chill out a bit.  Benny tried to join in on play with the chocolate Lab here and there by nibbling his butt.  He also tried to get a Shepherd to play using the same tactic and then squealed when the Shepherd moved away from him.  Stella followed along with me as I walked the park and she had a brief playful spurt after Sputnik ran by her to try to get her going.  Thompson wandered on his own a lot today, but he did come trotting up to me when I called him from a distance and then happily stood in place and looked up into my eyes while I gave him a good long neck scratch.  Sadie milled around and announced her presence to a lot of dogs.  She had a few playful chases but not any of the really big runs that she sometimes goes on.
