Adventure Pack

Benny and Oliver took their time together when they were off leash during today's hike.  Sputnik and Roger Roger minded their manners pretty well with each other as they hiked side-by-side along with me.  Roger Roger tried to start a wrestling match with Sputnik about halfway through the hike but he listened well when I told him to lay off and keep hiking, and Sputnik took the harassment in stride.  The rambunctious pups are starting to mature a bit.

Play Pack

Milo was feeling especially playful today and spent a long while flaunting a tennis ball around, wiggling around on top of it in the grass, and then picking it back up and doing it all over again.  Sadie ran alongside him as he trotted proudly and then Sadie found a tennis ball of her own and started imitating her elder packmate by dropping the ball and wiggling around on her back all over it.  It was so cute to see her mimick Milo's silly behavior.  Ruffers and Sadie ran and played a lot today and they also found a lot of other playmates as well.  Ruffers hung around a big group of adolescent dogs who were all taking turns in wrestling matches and chases.  Sadie went on a long sprint with a couple playful young puppies in tow.  She started off at a slower speed so they could keep up, but then she turned it up to show off.  Thompson took it easy as usual but did greet a couple dogs who got him hopping around a bit.  Benny also met a dog who brought out his playful side and he lunged back and forth to try to elicit attention, but the other dog went on his way before long.
