Adventure Pack

Oliver and Benny got some practice in coming to me when called while off leash with distractions today.  There were a few different hikers with dogs on leash that we came across and Benny and Oliver both did a good job of listening rather than going over and disturbing them.  When another excited dog came up to the rest of the pack at a different time, Sputnik stayed calm and friendly while Roger Roger and Rucksack were eager to say hello.

Play Pack

Sadie had a great time playing chase with a West Highland Terrier at the park today.  They each took turns as pursuer and had lots of fun.  Meanwhile, Isaac was playing fetch but stepped in a few times to interrupt a bigger dog who was trying to join in with Sadie and her new friend, but was being overly pushy.  It was cute to see Isaac take it upon himself to address the dog who was being rude to his little packmate, by running in between them and shouldering him out of the way.  Benny and Milo leapt around each other for a while and then Milo spent some time wiggling around in the snow while Benny made rounds among the humans.  Thompson was more mellow than I expected given the cool temperature.  He took up his usual observation stations and greeted some friendly humans.
