Adventure Pack

Roger Roger found a good stick to haul for the duration of the hike today.  Sputnik tried to steal it from him every now and then but I stopped him.  When I interrupted him, he was good about leaving Roger Roger alone and not diving straight back into harassing his packmate; however, he couldn't resist the temptation forever.  Rucksack decided that one hiker who was sitting on a boulder by the trail was his new best friend and he walked over and stood with her for a while.  She was happy to give him lots of attention until we headed on up the trail.  Benny did a good job keeping pace today without any protests.  Oliver was a good little trooper as usual.

Play Pack

Ruffers and Sadie played a lot at the park today but Ruffers was being a bit too pushy with her little packmate so I interrupted her often to let her know to be less of a bully.  Sometimes she would start to stalk Sadie when Sadie wasn't even paying attention to her and then charge up and scare her, so I called to Ruffers and diverted her attention whenever I saw her crouch into a stalking position while eyeing Sadie.  Benny leapt around with a couple dogs and the three of them all seemed to be attempting to mount one another while avoiding getting mounted by the third dog.  Milo went for a few runs with a dog named Gus whom we've been seeing at the park lately.  Thompson wasn't as animated as his packmates and contented himself to watch the action and occasionally sidle up to a human for some love.
