Adventure Pack

Oliver gets a lot of comments from passing hikers about how tough it must be for him to keep up with the big dogs, but he did just fine today as usual!  Rucksack passed over a stick that was lying in the trail directly in his path.  I nudged it with my foot as Roger Roger came up behind Rucksack, and Roger Roger was happy to take the suggestion and carry it for a while.  Sputnik was very drawn by his nose today and kept veering off the side of the trail.  Benny lingered behind a bit but caught up quickly whenever I called him.

Play Pack

Milo was in playful spirits at the park today as he leapt around with one dog early on and then had fun with his packmates shortly before we left.  He and Benny started mouthing at each others faces and then Milo flopped down on his side and went after Benny's legs.  Then, he popped back up and started running and dodging around while Sadie chased after him, barking.  Benny matched his moves and every once in a while Isaac ran up to give a little chest-butt to Milo when Milo seemed to be getting the best of Benny.  Meanwhile, Thompson watched at my side while I scratched his neck.  It had been a while since I've seen Milo so animated, and it was really fun!
