Adventure Pack

Roger Roger was in a mood to harass his packmate Benny today.  In resonse, Benny opened his jaws wide and swung his head around to see if he could catch a limb on which to gnaw.  When Benny wasn't being bombarded with puppy energy, he was exploring off the trail aliongside Milo.  Later on, Rucksack and Roger Roger passed a small stick between them a few times.  Mamacita was energized by the cool weather and kept trying to initiate play by rearing back and then taking a playful lunge forward.  She didn't pull at the leash hard, but she kept testing it to see if she could bolt.

Play Pack

Benny and Sputnik were very happy to greet park regulars Jen Jen and Chapman, a pair of Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, with lots of kisses, bows, and nudges.  The cool weather really gave the pack some extra vigor today.  Benny ran and lunged around with no particular purpose but to express his freedom.  Stella went for some short runs as well, though not in the same goofy, aimless fashion as Benny.  Thompson danced playfully with several other dogs over the course of our park visit.  Sputnik alternated between playing fetch and racing with groups of other young, athletic dogs.  His playmate Mason was at the park again today.  They were a bit tense at first, as they were the first time they bumped into each other at the park, but managed to settle down with a little supervision.  Sputnik and Sadie raced together as well.  Later on, Sadie enjoyed chasing Sputnik while Sputnik chased the tennis ball.  She also had a conversation with a Dachshund who was even more talkative than her.
