Adventure Pack

Rucksack found a pinecone to carry along for most of the hike.  When he finally put it down, Roger Roger was quick to dive in and snatch it up. Sputnik growled at a Shetland Sheepdog just after it passed by us.  I didn't see, but I'm guessing the Sheepdog was staring back at us after we passed.  Oliver behaved himself well today and even kept his cool when approached by an excited puppy.  Benny mosied along at a steady pace but stopped on a couple occasions to say hello to hikers who were drawn in by his charm.

Sadie had a great time running and wrestling with an Alaskan Klee Kai - a breed that looks like a miniature Husky.  Meanwhile, Thompson was enjoying the company of several full-size Huskies as they all hung out together.  Benny was greeted by a 7-month-old Ridgeback who was very interested to meet a relative.  His energy was a bit too much for Benny, who grumbled at him until he went away.  Later on, the young one came back and followed Benny around more calmly, which Benny appreciated.  Isaac bathed in a tiny mud pit next to a water bowl at the center of the park to the amusement of onlookers.  Milo was feeling lazy today and did a lot of lying around.  I tried to get him and Benny into a bit of wrestling when the two of them were sitting next to each other by me but they weren't interested.
