Adventure Pack

We took an easy pace on today's hike.  Benny was the primary pace-setter, as he wanted to slow down and watch every passer-by go by.  Roger Roger jumped on Benny sometimes when we came to a stop, but it didn't get Benny to move any quicker.  Mamacita received a lot of attention from Rucksack, who kept licking her ears.  Milo is usually the recipient of Rucksack's affections, but I guess Mama's ears were just tastier today so Milo's ears went unlicked.

Play Pack

Sadie nudged Charlie playfully now and then to test out the waters, but Charlie didn't take the bait.  Instead, Sadie found a Bernese Mountain Dog to chase her.  Her new friend was respectful of her space but Sadie got scared whenever he caught up to her and she yelped out even though he hadn't touched her.  After running to my heels for a minute, she went and barked at him to get him to chase her again.  Meanwhile, Charlie was lying on her back just in case any dogs wanted to come and sniff her.  Coco ventured further from my heel today and explored a bit on her own.  Stella hung out by a Golden Retriever who was protective of his tennis ball, but Stella stood her ground and gave him a stern bark back when he tried to shoo her away.  After that, he lied down quietly with his ball while Stella sniffed around the area for a long while.  Benny danced a bit with a German Shepherd as they each tried to get the best of the other.
