Adventure Pack

Benny and Oliver followed the pack from behind at a distance as we hiked today.  Oliver and Sputnik were both calm and collected when we passed other dogs on the trails, even when some of those dogs were pretty amped up themselves.  Rucksack and Roger Roger passed a pine cone back and forth throughout the hike.  Surprisingly, Roger Roger seemed more delicate with it than Rucksack, who crunched it quite a bit.

Play Pack

Ruffers and Sadie ran with each other a lot at the park today.  They also split up and found separate playmates and continued to run and play.  Ruffers joined in a big chase with four other dogs and caught up to pup in the lead.  Later, Sadie ran in the lead with Ruffers and a couple other dogs chasing after her.  Milo enjoyed chasing a tennis ball that I threw for him.  His entire demeanor changes when he's chasing a tennis ball, as he takes on a playful hop in his gait and a goofy swing of his head.  Thompson and Benny both took a particular interest in a Brittany Spaniel and followed him around - sniffing him, nibbling at his back, and seeming perpetually on the verge of attempting to mount him.
