Adventure Pack

Oliver started the hike at the back of the pack and finished it at the front, as he often does.  One friendly hiker wanted to guess the breeds of the pack members.  He correctly guessed the Benny was a Rhodesian Ridgeback; he mistook Rucksack for a Schnauzer.  I told him I wasn't certain whether Roger Roger as a Labradoodle or a Goldendoodle and he stopped trying to guess at that point.  Meanwhile, Sputnik, Roger Roger, and Rucksack were all starting to get restless and began wrestling around with each other.

Play Pack

Sadie had some fun with her friend Ruffers, who was at the park with her mom again today.  Ruffers wasn't feeling especially playful, though, so many of Sadie's attempts to prod her into wrestling and chasing went unanswered; however, she did manage to get a little bit of fun out of her packmate.  Isaac had a gang of herding dogs who followed him back and forth as he played fetch today.  Milo chased down a ball I threw for him a couple times, each time running off with it to flaunt it and then flop around with it to make sure everyone knew that he got it.  Thompson met another Husky who named Aria (or Arya?) who looked just like a petite, female version of himself.  Aria looked up lovingly into my eyes while I scratched her chin, just the way Thompson always does, but she had only one icy-blue eye - the other was brown.  As I walked around, Benny followed right by my side as usual, enjoying one of his typical lazy days at the park.  The pair of Ridgebacks were there again and Benny and the female stood and stared at each other from a distance for several minutes, but Benny failed to make a move and she lost interest and walked away.
