Adventure Pack

We came across a little girl on the trails who asked if she could pet the dogs.  Rucksack was happy to oblige and walked up to her to receive the attention.  Meanwhile, Roger Roger and Sputnik started wrestling around with each other, but settled down much more easily than they have in the past.  Benny and Oliver followed the rest of the pack from behind as they sniffed around and lingered in shady spots during their time off-leash together.

Ruffers and Sadie ran and wrestled together while Thompson and Benny walked the perimeter of the park with me.  Milo lingered behind in the shade until we were about a third of the way across the park and then he came running across the distance with a joyful bounce in his step and an excited look in his eye, rushed past us, and then eventually stopped and turned back to wait for us to catch up.  When we reached the grassy end of the park, I threw a tennis ball for Milo and he proceeded to dive on it, chew it, flail it around, and then wiggle on his back on top of it.  Later on, everyone took a rest in the shade back at the south end of the park.  Before long, Sadie started nosing at Sadie and jumping on top of her, and the two of them wiggled around on their backs side-by-side and mouthed at each other playfully for a long time.  A few other playful pups joined in and they all had fun together.  Meanwhile, Benny tried to catch a fly and Thompson stared lovingly into the eyes of people who were happy to pet him.
