Adventure Pack

It was another hot day out so we made a pit stop at the stream by the Gregory Canyon trailhead for the pack to get wet.  Thompson and Milo would have been happy to linger there as long as they could, but we got moving again after the pack soaked themselves for a few minutes.  Roger Roger was in a modd to harass his big brother Rucksack on the trails today and kept chewing on his ear and the scruff of his neck.  Mamacita trucked along a step behind me as always.

LittleMa was a bit wary to traverse the park when we first arrived today, but I was able to convince her to follow her packmates toward the north end where we encountered some friendly dogs.  LittleMa lingered in their company a bit while Isaac played fetch and Sputnik, Ruffers, and Benny all sniffed around.  We headed down to the south end after a little while where Ruffers and Sputnik both found multiple playmates.  Ruffers' first playmate was a smaller dog whom she enjoyed dancing around until Sputnik came over and insisted on her attention.  After that, they split off and played with some other young dogs about their size, independently of one another.  Meanwhile, Isaac tried to curl up and lie down in the water bowl but it was marginally too small for him.  Benny and LittleMa made rounds among the humans to get some love.
