Adventure Pack

It was a hot and humid hike today.  Milo, Mamacita, and Thompson trucked along.  Thompson was understandably the most eager to have his turn during water breaks.  Roger Roger and Rucksack both spotted a stick along the trail at the same time and dove for it simultaneously.  Roger Roger got a bigger chunk in his mouth and Rucksack let him take it.  Roger Roger carried it for a while before eventually dropping it.  Rucksack wasn't paying attention at the time so the stick got left behind.

Play Pack

Isaac actually mingled with other dogs for a little bit today before grabbing up a tennis ball for fetch.  Sputnik made quick friends with another Cattle Dog mix and the two of them ran around playfully together for a bit.  Meanwhile, Benny, Ruffers, and LittleMa followed me to a shady spot.  A bunch of friendly pups congregated around us.  Sputnik, Ruffers, and Isaac all enjoyed a bit of wrestling around with the other friendly dogs.  LittleMa was a bit nervous about all the clumsy pups and was snippy about her personal space at first, but eventually calmed down.  Benny stood, proudly disinterested while one of the puppies checked him out and tried to lick at his face, but was too short to reach and polite enough not to jump up to get to him.
