Adventure Pack

It was a beautiful day for hiking today!  Milo was in a wandering mood and went well off the trail to investigate smells that caught his interest.  Benny joined Milo but was more responsive when I called them back than was his elder packmate, who was on his own schedule and apparently had some important things to attend to.  Meanwhile, Mamacita, Roger Roger, and Rucksack walked at my side.

Play Pack

We saw packmate Ruffers at the park today.  Sadie and Sputnik were especially happy to see one of thier favorite playmates.  Sadie and Ruffers ran around a bit at first and then Ruffers went off with Sputnik and another dog by the name of Gus.  Sputnik got jealous and started bullying Gus with chest butts and some unpleasant grumbles, so I interrupted and then we headed to another area of the park.  Thompson led the way to the south end as the rest of the pack followed behind him with me.  Stella enjoyed a good wiggle in the dirt as she often does and then wandered around, sniffing the perimeter of the park.  Benny made his usual rounds among admiring humans, getting plenty of attention.  Thompson also made some human friends and spent most of his time in the shade.
