Adventure Pack
It wasn't nearly as hot today as yesterday and we forewent the detour to the stream at Gregory Canyon. Roger Roger found a small chunk of wood and carried it along briefly but quickly lost interest as he often does. When Roger Roger dropped it, Rucksack grabbed for it almost before it touched the ground. Oliver barked at the first dog we passed - a very young Bernese Mountain Dog who had frozen in place along the trail, overwhelmed by the sight of so many dogs headed his way. When Oliver started barking, it set Sputnik off growling so we stepped off to the side of the trail to let the pup through. Benny kept up much better today than yesterday.
Play Pack
Sadie and Ruffers had a lot of fun chasing and wrestling one another. Every now and then, Sadie would break from her play with Ruffers to come jump on Benny and try to get him involved but Benny largely ignored her harassment. Milo chased after a tennis ball I threw for him and then batted it around, flaunted it, and flopped onto his back to roll around; he did just about everything he could with it but bring it back. Thompson was more mobile at the park today, probably because of the cooler weather. He spent much of his time sniffing along the fence and occasionally leaving scent marks.
