Adventure Pack
The pack starred in an impromptu photo shoot in front of the municipal building by Broadway and Canyon today, where a photographer was taking photos of the area to showacase some recent landscape architecture for the city. He asked us to pass through the area a few times and the pack was happy to oblige. When we took a few photos sitting at a stone bench, Mamacita and Roger Roger kept looking at the photographer with curiosity, and he asked if I could get their attention. I did my best but as soon as I got one to look at me the other had already turned back to the photographer. Meanwhile, Milo, Benny, and Rucksack were all consummate professionals. I gave the photographer my card and asked him to send the photos on when they're printed, so I'll share them in the Pack Photos when I get them.
Play Pack
There weren't any professional photographers at the dog park but there were plenty of friendly dogs for the pack to hang out with. Coco was a bit snippy with the first couple dogs who came and said hello to her but she eased up with later greetings. Charlie and Coco both enjoyed chasing down a tennis ball as I threw it for them, though neither was interested in bringing it back. Charlie just stood over it and bayed as Beagles do. There was another little dog who sometimes came running in out of nowhere and beat the girls to the tennis ball, then actually brought it back. Benny took an interest in a chocolate Lab and kept licking, nibbling, and pawing at his side though the Lab was more interested in racing the little lightning bolt for tennis balls. Stella wiggled around on her back and attracted the attention of some playful dogs but when they seemed interested she just stood back up and then gave a bark that sent them away.
