Adventure Pack

The pack received many compliments on how beautiful they all looked as we walked the Creek today. Thompson was especially noted for his good looks by more than one admirer. When Thompson was being pet by an admirer, Roger Roger jumped all over his packmate and earned a few exasperated grumbles. Rucksack, Mama, and Milo all patiently waited their turns for attention and everyone received it from multiple people today.

Isaac has been running with other dogs more lately when he sees a chase – and not just darting in for a quick jab but rather joining in the chase in a more social way; however, he still spent most of his time playing fetch. Sputnik was in an unpleasant mood and had a tiff with the same liver-coated Border Collie with whom Ruffers enjoyed playing last week. After that, he also started to stiffen up and growl at a couple other dogs upon greeting before I interrupted him and walked him away, so he ended up spending much of the visit on the leash practicing staying calm. Meanwhile, Ruffers joined in with Isaac for a bit of fetch. Little Ma winded around amongst the dogs and people who were sitting in the shade, and she found a couple welcoming laps on which to relax.
