Adventure Pack

On today's hike, I learned that Roger Roger got into a bunch of almonds in the last 24 hours and Sputnik found a stray blue crayon, as both came out the other end undigested.  It appeared that Milo and Rucksack had less exciting diets.

Play Pack

We had a new pack member join us at the park today: Little Mama!  Little Mama is a Chihuahua who is a new addition to the family of our other pack member Mamacita.  Both were found as strays with litters of puppies, hence the names they came with.  Little Mama was interested in sniffing around the park and in greeting other dogs, but she was unsure of herself and snipped at the others when she felt they were too nosey, much as our little Corgie pack member Sadie does.  While Little Mama was getting used to the park, Ruffers and Yoda had some long rounds of play that involved lots of play-bows back and forth.  Thompson was feeling playful today as well and he joined in to hop around with them for a bit.  He also enjoyed getting his feet wet in the kiddie pool!  By the time we left the park, Little Mama was a lot more comfortable with her packmates sniffing her and standing next to her, and she didn't snip at Thompson even when he gave her a nose-to-nose nudge.
