Adventure Pack
We took the easier Boulder Creek Path today even though it wasn't particularly hot. Sputnik, Rucksack, and Chelsea all enjoyed soaking in the Creek when we stopped for a cool-off break. Surprisingly, Milo just stepped in with his front paws to get a drink, as did Roger Roger. Sputnik had an outburst of playful energy at one point and tried to get Chelsea or Roger Roger to join him by leaping and dropping in to play-bows around them, but neither took the bait.
Play Pack
Ruffers went straight to a couple playful pups when we arrived at the park today and she wiggled, bowed, and hopped all around them. They hopped around with her a bit but didn't indulge her in a full-on chase. Meanwhile, Isaac went straight for a tennis ball for some fetch. Ruffers later had fun leading Sadie on some chases. After running with Ruffers, Sadie and Chunk - a young pup who joined us for the day - hopped and wrestled around with each other. They're almost exactly the same size right now, except Chunk has a couple inches on Sadie in the legs. Meanwhile, Thompson lied down under a bench where a couple people were sitting. I went over and called him to come for a walk with me, and he obliged without hesitation. We walked the park with the rest of the pack in tow until we settled at the south end, where Thompson lay down again and the others sniffed around and wrestled a bit here and there while Isaac enjoyed running alongside a couple other herding-breed dogs, Remmy and Buzz, who are also fetch-obsessed and were chasing down a frisbee today.
