Adventure Pack

The pack ventured up the Red Rocks trail at Settler's Park today.  Everyone enjoyed long breaks at the stream, both on our way up the trail and on our way back down.  Rucksack was again the most eager to get into the water, and he and Milo were then the least willing to move on and leave it behind.  Ruffers had her first taste of water from the Camelbak spout along the trail today.  She watched as her packmates drank and started licking her lips.  She was a little hesitant but quenched her thirst.  Mamacita still took some convincing to try the water again, while Roger Roger, Milo, and Rucksack all drank without hesitation.

Charlie promptly wandered off on her own when we arrived at the park, while Stella lingered at the gate for a bit and Coco and Ruffers followed at my heel.  Stella eventually joined us and we caught up with Charlie at the grassy area in the back of the park.  We eventually made our way down to the shady south end together, where Stella lounged in the shade, Ruffers played some fetch, Charlie mingled, and Coco stayed by my side to be pet - occasionally going off to see who her sister was hanging out with.
