Adventure Pack

Milo and Benny followed at a distance behind me, Mamacita, and Sputnik on the trails today.  Benny wasn't far behind but Milo lingered along the stream we passed on our way up the Ski Jump trail, a little ways down the hill from the trail itself.  As we headed down the trail during the last stretch, a dog who was heading up the trail took notice of the pack and crouched down.  I watched Sputnik closely because he's been reactive to those situations, but he didn't so much as snarl even when the other dog walked up to say hello.  They just gave each other a thorough sniff and then parted ways - go Sputnik!  Meanwhile, Milo and Mamacita were disinterested in the other pup and Benny gave a brief acknowledgement before staring off and sniffing at the air.

Play Pack

Coco had a Dachshund twin at the park today.  He had the same long, brown coat as her but he was a little smaller (especially around the waist).  He was very excited to see Coco but he was a bit much for her and she told him off a few times for charging up and getting in her face.  He then turned his attention to Stella, who also expressed her disinterest with some grumbles.  Once he left her alone, she proceeded to wiggle around on her back in the dirt.  Meanwhile, Benny was busy following a Pit Bull around and the two of them had some playful bouts of wrestling and stand-offs as each tried to best the other.  Charlie was off greeting dogs lying down and then chasing with another Beagle.  Coco joined in a few of their runs, as well.
