Adventure Pack

Milo enjoyed following the streams we passed on the trails today.  Once he started exploring, it was difficult to get his attention to move on.  Benny explored with him early on in the hike but was much more responsive when I called him back to the group.  Later on, Rucksack joined Milo and the two of them got their paws muddy together.  Meanwhile, Roger Roger did a good job of showing self-restraint by not jumping on the friendly people who stopped to say hello to the dogs.  Mamacita drank a little water from the spout again, though she still wasn't eager to do it.

Play Pack

Everyone was pretty lazy at the park today - even Sadie!  Benny, Thompson, and Stella all lied down and relaxed for most of the time.  Thompson chose the shade while Stella preferred the sun.  Benny moved around a few times between both.  Sadie didn't lie down but she also didn't run around.  The most she could muster was a trot as she wandered around sniffing, chewing twigs, and greeting other dogs.  She successfully fetched a tennis ball a few times, but lost interest in it after that.  Near the end of our visit, Stella was hanging around a girl who was happily petting her.  When I went over, I learned that she and Stella knew each other because she's been a babysitter for Stella's family - small world!
