Adventure Pack

Roger Roger grabbed up a stick the instant we got onto the trail today.  He only carried it for a minute, however, before dropping it to leave behind.  Rucksack saw the opportunity and went for it but when Roger Roger realized his big brother wanted it he quickly snatched it back up.  As soon as Rucksack turned away, he dropped it and was going to leave it behind again; so I brought Rucksack over to it and blocked Roger Roger from stealing it back again.  Rucksack carried the stick for the rest of the hike until we got back to the car.  Meanwhile, Thompson and Milo seemed to be competing for who could leave the most scent marks along the trail.  I'm not sure who won, but they both made a great effort.  Mamacita drank from the CamelBak spout again today, with a little coaxing.

Play Pack

Ruffers and Benny had a great round of play at the park today.  I haven't seen Benny run so much in a long time, but he's had lots of playful energy for the past week or so.  Ruffers also found a playmate in Cooper, a chocolate Lab who is occasionally at the park and has befriended various pack members over the years.  The two of them went on and on, bowing, pawing, and hip-checking for a long time.  Mamacita was in a more mellow mood today and just watched over the park.
