Adventure Pack

We met several different people on the trails today who asked if they could say hello to the pack.  Everyone was very friendly, with Rucksack at the forefront of every greeting.  After a few moments, Roger Roger and Sputnik inevitably took the break in our hike as an opportunity to wrestle, so we got a lot of practice in impulse-management as I had them both settle down and sit with each other calmly.  Roger Roger had the hardest time keeping still and he kept goading Sputnik into more wrestling, so I turned my attention mostly to Roger Roger and then they successfully relaxed.  Meanwhile, Oliver did a much better job of keeping up than he had Tuesday and Benny trotted along nicely.

Play Pack

Milo and Benny had another round of play at the park today.  It started when Benny began leaping and bowing on his own.  Milo took notice and then joined him, and the two of them continued for a little while.  At one point, Benny found a stick and bowed over it as a challenge, as if to say, "Come and get it!"  Milo ran over and Benny leapt out of the way and they continued their goofy dance.  During this time, Thompson was sniffing and gently digging at a patch of dirt with one paw.  After a thorough investigation, he peed on it and walked away.
