Adventure Pack

Thompson was a much better walker today and stuck to my side the whole time without pulling ahead.  Mamacita walked alongside Thompson and was also very good today without any unfriendly gestures toward strangers.  Roger Roger actually barked at a group that passed by a short distance away.  A couple teenage girls among them were watching the pack and squealing about how adorable the dogs all were.  I'm not sure whether Roger Roger barked out of excitement about the prospect of meeting these people or all the pointing and squealing attention from afar made him feel guarded.  Either way, I caught his attention and had him sit and wait patiently until they had passed down the trail.  I thought we were going to have a stickless hike but then we came upon a golden chunk of wood that was sitting right in the middle of the trail and Rucksack couldn't resist, so he carried it down the hill for about the last 15 minutes.  Milo did a good job keeping up during but started to limp a little toward the end of the hike.  I set down a recently-acquired step for him when we returned to the car and that made it easier for him to hop in.

Play Pack

Benny had a really fun romp with park regular Remmy today.  She has a relentless energy, which is just what it takes to get Benny going.  Once he got into it, he was bowing, hopping, and spinning all around with her.  It was great to see him enjoying a playmate.
