Adventure Pack

Sputnik practiced walking a pace behind me to help keep his attention with the pack when passing other dogs.  Oliver walked just ahead of him so he also had to pay attention to avoid walking into his little packmate, which he managed well.  Rucksack found a stick he liked and carried it for a while.  Roger Roger and Benny also liked it, and each chewed on an end of it while Rucksack held the middle when we took a short break for water.

Play Pack

Sadie and Mamacita enjoyed running though the park together.  Another small dog showed up and then the three of them all ran, although their new friend didn't have as much energy to keep going as they did.  Benny was very interested in a Golden Retriever who came to the park today, and tested him out by putting a tentative paw on his back a few times.  The Golden was swarmed with attention from other dogs as well, and didn't take much notice of Benny.  Thompson lay down in the shade for much of our visit today, especially under a picnic table where he could get pet by the people sitting there.
