Adventure Pack

Roger Roger and Sputnik enjoyed a good romp in the snow together, with lots of leaps and tackles.  By the time they stopped playing, Roger Roger's legs were so caked with snowballs that he was tripping over himself.  Mamacita and Rucksack both jumped on their puppy packmates now and then when their wrestling and maneuvering brought them close to the rest of the pack.  Rucksack, Benny, and Sputnik all chomped on lots of snow as we hiked.  Rucksack collected some snowballs as well, but it was nothing compared to his little brother.

Play Pack

Isaac was non-stop with the fetching today.  He's often go-go-go, but he typically takes breaks every now and then to catch his breath and get some water.  Today, the cool weather and mud kept him going the whole time until the end of our visit.  Unfortunately, he had a collision with another dog at that time and started limping, but after a thorough leg-and-paw massage it seemed to be only a minor sprain and he actually still wanted to keep playing fetch; but we called it quits then and he finally took a brief rest before we left.  Earlier in the visit, Mamacita and Thompson spotted a coyote on the hill beyond the north end of the park.  Mamacita barked out a warning, while Thompson just sat and stared.  Benny was oblivious to the coyote and contented himself to greet people and investigate pockets with his curious nose.
