Adventure Pack
Milo was very interested in stopping to mark spots frequently along the trail today. When we got to the beginning of the Mesa Trail, where Milo and Thompson had wandered down into the canyon Wednesday, Milo and Mamacita both perked up. They looked down on the canyon with excitement on their faces, remembering Wednesday's exploits and both expecting the chance to take off on their own, which was all the more reason to keep them with me on the leash.
Play Pack
Charlie was a social butterfly as usual. Coco joined in on a few chases with a group of dogs that Charlie was mixing things up with. However, after a bit of running around, a couple different larger dogs came and hovered over Coco, to which she responded in a snippy manner. One young Pit Bull was also being pushy with Charlie so I had him back off and respect her space for a minute, and then the two of them went on to have fun together as the Pit Bull let Charlie lead the play. Meanwhile, Mamacita found two great playmates at different times during our visit. The first was an American Bulldog who enthusiastically solicited Mamacita's attention. Later on, she and a black Lab felt each other out briefly before both bursting into chases, hops, and spins together.
