Today, Coco picked up a small stick that she was happily carrying along when Toskey came up behind her and chased her for it. Toskey eventually got it from Coco and trotted around for a minute before putting it down and letting Coco have it again. I picked up the stick after Coco left it behind, at which point both Coco and Toskey became interested in it again and tried taking it out of my hand. I practiced the "leave it" command with them, and once they stopped being so pushy I tossed it back to Coco. She didn't carry it for much longer, but I'm pretty sure she grabbed the same one when we were on our way back. Toskey spent some time closer by my side than usual today, so I stopped to give her some good scratches and massages along the way.
At the park, Rucksack immediately started playing with a yellow Labradoodle. After a minute, Coco joined in their chasing. After the other Labradoodle left, I played soccer with Rucksack and Buzz while Coco romped around with Oona (the Chihuahua mix who she's played with a lot before), an eight month old Australian Shepherd, and another younger puppy.
