 Adventure Pack

Rucksack tried out a small array of different sticks and odd chunks of wood on the trails today.  Milo enjoyed getting his feet wet in the stream we passed over on our way up the Mesa Trail, and then again on our way back down.  Further up the trail, Milo started munching on some snow that was still left on a shady hillside and he was joined by Benny, Mamacita, and Roger Roger.  Meanwhile, Rucksack was shouldering down into the snow and sliding around on the hillside.

Play Pack

Thompson and Benny, our two mellowest pack members, actually found playmates they enjoyed at the park today!  Benny's playmate was Chapman, a Chesapeek Bay Retriever whom he actually knows pretty well but has never payed much attention to before.  Thompson's new friend was a unique looking mixed breed who kept hopping up and chest butting him in a challenging yet playful way that brought out some play-bows and chest butts from Thompson as well.  Charile mostly spent her time following her nose around the park today, though she did go on a few sprints as well, joined by various other dogs including Mamacita.  Coco wandered off from me for a bit and hung out in the midst of some other dogs before returning to my heel and then getting pets from adoring humans.
