Adventure Pack

Roger Roger enjoyed jumping on both his brother and Mamacita as we set out for the trails today.  As we made our way up the Mesa Trail, Rucksack found a stick to haul for the remainder of the hike.  Osito showed absolutely no hesitation to lap up water from the Camelbak and in fact eagerly shoved his snout into the spigot before I even started pouring it for him.  Milo didn't shy away from the water stream as he used to, but after giving it a sniff he showed no interest in it.  Milo was happy to trot alongside the pack even when he was off the leash, while Rucksack and Osito both tended to forge ahead and needed frequent reminders to come back to the rest of us.

Play Pack

Benny found a friend whose temperament he tested by standing stiffly next to him and then hopping away.  When the other dog seemed curious about him, he was emboldened and reached out to paw at his new friend's back, which was received less well as the dog gave him a stern, growly bark which was enough to scare Benny off from any further attempts to get playful.  Meanwhile, Isaac was playing lots of fetch, stopping only to splash around in water bowls.  Sputnik watched Isaac and started pouncing on his tennis ball after Isaac brought it back so I found another ball for Sputnik to fetch.  He just chased it down at first, but after I brought him to it and then walked him back with it a couple times he started bringing it back himself.  Thompson hung out in a shady spot in the middle of the park so he could see the action while staying cool.  Benny wandered from person to person, making friends.
