Adventure Pack

Mamacita joined the Adventure Pack today and she trotted along with the group, falling right into pace as we went.  Benny was looking for Roger Roger's attention on the hike today, as he sidled up to his puppy packmate and nudged at him to get Roger Roger to nibble his ears.  For the first time, Milo lapped up water from the Camelbak spout without needing to be coerced by having the spigot held in his mouth to get him started.  Mamacita was wary of the Camelbak and opted to quench her thirst at a stream we passed over instead.

Play Pack

Sadie took off to run in circles as soon as we got to the park.  Sputnik took off after her.  Sputnik rolled Sadie over every now and then, not yet realizing he needed to be gentler with his little packmate.  Sadie was undeterred, however, and as they kept running together, Sputnik started getting the idea and keeping a little more distance.  Sadie also had fun running with park regular Remmy, who was more respectful of her space from the get-go.  Thompson and Benny got lots of kisses from a friendly Pit Bull and Thompson grumbled his impatience after it went on for a while.  Stella walked on the leash at my side as I'm trying to encourage her to explore more instead of returning to the entrance as she often tends to do.  She enjoyed wiggling in the grass and was interested in greeting some dogs but not others.  When Sputnik came too close while rough-housing with another playmate, Stella gave them a couple barks to make sure they respected her personal space.
