Adventure Pack

Yoda joined the usual Monday pack for today's hike up the Chautauqua and Mesa trails.  Coco and Yoda took up the far positions as we walked on-leash, while Roger Roger and Rucksack joined Coco at my right and Benny and Milo joined Yoda at my left.  Everyone was very in-sync even as we navigated the slick and muddy terrain.  Thankfully, the mud was thick enough that it didn't splash up so the dogs only needed their paws cleaned when we returned to the packmobile.  Today marks the first day of Coco's last week with the pack, as she will be moving away at the end of the week.  The pack is definitely going to miss her.  When we picked up Benny at the begninning of the morning, he gave her plenty of kisses - as he always does.

Play Pack

Mamacita and Sadie had a blast running around and wrestling with one another today, as well as with a happy Golden Retriever puppy.  Benny joined in for a few leaps and sprawls.  Sadie also tried to get Stella interested, but Stella hopped away from her puppy packmate and went off to wiggle around on her back and then visit with humans as they enetered the park.  We saw an old friend - a Husky named Oberon - at the park today.  He gave Thompson a very enthusiastic greeting complete with non-stop licks in the face, which Thompson tolerated with a few grumbles.
