Adventure Pack

We had a similar experience today as yesterday, in that the first dog we encountered on the trails dropped into a stalking posture and walked straight at the pack, causing some of the pack members to become wary and growly; and then a short while later we passed another dog who was much more relaxed, to whom the pack gave a passing, friendly nod.  Along the way, I saw Rucksack eyeing a stick as we approached it but after a quick sniff he decided to leave it behind.  Osito enjoyed shouldering down into the snow and chomping on it.  Coco brought up the rear today, rather than her usual position at the foremost spot on either of my flanks - Milo and Osito took those positions.  Roger Roger is maturing a bit and didn't spend the hike harassing any of his packmates, but rather walked along calmly.

Play Pack

Isaac chased his tennis ball and found a muddy patch in which to roll, making sure to cover himself as completely as he could.  Sputnik caught tennis balls too, with great enthusiasm, though he neglected to return them to me afterwards.  Thompson met a little black dog who was very eager to get to know him and kept jumping up at his face as he politely inclined his head away while standing still.  Benny had a similar experience with an over-enthusiastic pup.  Mamacita and Isaac both went on some big runs with various other dogs at the park.
