Adventure Pack

The first dog we came across on the trails today was a Golden Retriever who approached us with a stalking posture and put the pack on edge, then snapped at us when he got near.  Roger Roger and Sputnik responded with growls back at him, while Oliver barked from behind me and Benny and Rucksack just ignored him.  A short while later, we came across a black Lab who was much less intense and bobbed by the pack happily, leaning his head to the side to get a sniff as we passed each other.  It was a much more pleasant greeting and the pack responded with passing glances and noses working to catch the other dog's scent on the air.

Play Pack

Coco was very playful today and ran with several other dogs, including Sadie's little friend Scruffy and a Great Dane we sometimes see, named Porter.  Benny also played with Scruffy, who was unintimidated despite having the full attention of two much larger dogs.  Milo sat next to various freindly people and enjoyed their attention.  Thompson poked around congregations of other dogs but didn't find any playmates today.
