Adventure Pack

Rucksack brought a reasonably-sized stick along for the hike today.  Milo borrowed it for a short while but then Rucksack got it back when Milo was going to leave it behind.  Roger Roger gnawed on it a few times while his big brother was carrying it, but he didn't make any serious attempt to steal it.  Benny was hanging back a lot today and took some urging to keep up with the pack.

Play Pack

Coco joined Charlie in playing with another small dog named Scruffy.  Scruffy has already become a favorite playmate of Sadie's and today Coco and Charlie made friends with the playful pup.  It was great to see Coco getting involved in play with another dog since she's tended to be pretty shy during her outings with the pack, while her sister Coco has always been quite the social butterly.  Meanwhile, Stella was enjoying wiggling around on her back even though there wasn't any snow at the park today.  She also wandered around to sniff on her own but she didn't get involved in play with other dogs.  Thompson and Benny both took interest in a medium-large, black dog who looked to be part Lab.  He was a bit unsure of how to handle the attention from two big dogs, especially when Thompson and Benny started pawing and nibbling at his back; so I oversaw them and didn't let Thompson or Benny get too pushy.  They all hopped around with one another for a bit and everyone stayed friendly, though I did stop Thompson from mounting him a couple times.
