Leader of the Pack

It's good to see the hair on Coco's head is nearly fully grown back again, and she's grown noticeably since I saw her just last Friday.  She and Rucksack took turns carrying a stick during part of our hike today.  Rucksack carried it most of the time but he left it for Coco a couple times after she kept bugging him for it, and then she carried it a short way before it tired her out and she let Rucksack take it back.  Mogul followed his usual M.O. of lagging behind during the beginning of the hike, then gaining some playful energy for our return leg; however, his bursts of energy didn't last quite as long as usual.  He must still be a bit tired from the hikes he had with his people this weekend.

At the park, Mogul lied in the shade for most of the time and just enjoyed me petting him.  Coco and Rucksack wrestled with one another and they both played fetch with me for a bit.  Coco was doing a very good job of bringing the ball back - she only left it behind once out of about 6 or 8 times.  Mogul joined in briefly to chase down one ball.  Rucksack was getting some unwanted attention from a chocolate Lab at the park named Cooper who was trying to mount him, so we took a walk around the park to shake Cooper.  By the time we made our way back, Cooper found other things to keep his interest and he stopped giving Rucksack a hard time.
