Adventure Pack

Rucksack, Milo, and Coco kept jockying around for position as we walked today and each time they switched I stopped and had them move back into their original positions.  After the first couple corrections, they got the idea and turned around and headed back to their place when I stopped with less and less guidance as to where to go.  Rucksack quietly carried a small stick that went unnoticed by his packmates for most of the walk until Roger Roger caught on and started gnawing on the end that was sticking out of Rucksack's mouth.  Benny trotted along calmly, stretching his neck out to get a sniff of anyone who passed by.

Play Pack

Sadie was full of energy today and Mamacita was happy to oblige her in playing for most of our visit.  Sadie also got Stella to chase after her a bit, but Stella was mostly preoccupied with wiggling around in the snow.  Thompson enjoyed lying down in the snow as well, and also got some attention from a couple different Malamutes who were very eager to lick his face.  Benny dug in the snow a couple times and then leapt around in apparent celebration as if he uncovered something amazing, but I couldn't see anything noteworthy where he had dug.  He may just have been excited to have reached the dirt beneath.
