Leader of the Pack

The skies were completely blue and the sun was hot today.  Both Mogul and Coco's favorite part of the hike was the break we took by a small creek.  Mogul lied down in the water and Coco splashed around a bit.  When we started to move on again, the two of them dashed up ahead together with newfound vigor that lasted all of 2 minutes.  Coco had a few other bursts of energy that resulted in enthusiastic stick play.

At the park, Mogul was only interested in lying in the shade and being pet.  Coco saw the same black puppy that she played with yesterday, and the two of them went at it again for nearly our entire visit.  Coco especially liked playing a "king of the hill" style game where she tried to keep control of the area under one of the picnic tables.  The black puppy would eventually lure her out into a chase and make his way back under the table.  The two of them would then wrestle around until Coco eventually gained the upper hand and booted the other puppy out - only to be teased out into another chase.
