Adventure Pack

Sputnik was the one grabbing up sticks on today's outing but they didn't keep his attention for very long.  Roger Roger stole a couple away from him but then he just grabbed up the next twig along the way and Roger Roger dropped his to go after Sputnik's next find.  Benny, Rucksack, and Oliver left the sticks to their younger packmates and trotted along focusing on the way ahead.  Benny walked more toward the front of the group than usual today with a lighter bounce to his step, though by the same token he fell into his habit of suddenly stopping in place on several occasions.

Play Pack

Sadie again chased Isaac while Isaac chased his tennis ball.  Meanwhile, Coco watched with great focus, waiting for me to give a shorter throw in her direction that she could get to before lightning-bolt-Isaac.  Benny tried playing keep-away with a stick again today and found an audience with Sadie, who was happy to try to steal Benny's prize as he flaunted it around and bowed invitingly.  Thompson alternated between hanging out by humans who pet him and going around the park to check out what the other dogs were up to.  I also got Thompson and Benny to run and dodge around a bit with me.  I tried to redirect their attentions to one another but the play between them fizzled when I wasn't egging them on.
