Adventure Pack

We had another new mix on the hike today with Benny, Oliver, Sputnik, Stella, and Mamacita.  Stella was very good on her first hike with the pack and stayed right at my heel as she walked on the leash.  Mamacita also walked nicely at my side.  Sputnik pulled a bit but generally behaved himself well.  Sputnik and Mamacita got into a playful mood and started wrestling around with one another but settled down when I got their attention.  Meanwhile, Benny and Oliver roamed the trail off-leash and stuck close to the group throughout the hike.

Play Pack

Milo was much more mellow at the park today than yesterday and mostly lied around.  Benny and Thompson both took an interest in a Lab/Golden Retriever mix.  Thompson came on a bit strong at first and was told off by his new acquaintance but took the hint and was less pushy afterwards.  Benny dropped into ridiculous, wiggly play-bows every time their new friend looked at him.  Sadie met another Corgie who is just a month older than her and the two of them sniffed each other and hung out a bit but never got playful with one another.  Luca went around the park checking out whatever was happening.  He liked to follow the action when he saw other dogs playing but he never got into the middle of it.
